FAQ's

Q: Do I need good personal credit to get business credit?

A: No, but it helps. You can establish low level business credit without using any personal credit and should do so while you work on your personal credit.

Q: Do you help with my personal credit?

A: Yes, if you are a business credit client we will coach you through getting your personal credit cleaned up.

Q: Can I get bank lines of credit with no personal credit?

A: Usually not, but it does not have to be your credit. At some point, you will need a creditworthy officer for your corporation, and that can be an employee, a partner, a relative, or a friend.

Q: How much money can I raise once I complete your program?

A: Most people qualify their businesses for $50,000 to $200,000. However, a few have gone much higher, sometimes over $1,000,000.

Q: How long does your program take to show tangible results?

A: Some businesses get results immediately, but most take about 70 days.

Q: Can my business lease cars after finishing your program?

A: Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, no. It depends on your company's strength, time in business, the dealer that you go to, and the lender that your dealer uses. It is done all the time, but we will need to coach you through the first time.

Q: Are there any other expenses apart from your fee?

A: Yes. You will need to pay DnB for their service to establish your business file, and you may wish to buy an existing corporation.

Q: Why would I need or want to buy an existing corporation?

A: The main reason would be to minimize questions about the length of time you have been in business. If you have a corporation that was established about the same time you personally started in your business, you could truthfully merge the two operating histories and you could then use your date of incorporation as your start date. This requires writing a history for DnB that is both honest and accurate and requires a professional to help you.

Q: Why do so many people have trouble getting business credit?

A: Mostly because they don't know the rules. Or, in the case of people who hire credit building services, they don't follow the rules. Like anything that is worth a lot of money, it takes a determined person to reach the prize at the finish line.

Q: Can I get credit cards right away?

A: Yes. You can get trade lines of credit very quickly. These credit cards are for store purchases and usually have credit limits of no more than $5000, although some, like Home Depot, will go up to $35,000. Bank lines of credit take longer unless you settle for secured credit cards, or have someone personally guarantee the credit card.

Q: Can I buy real estate using business credit?

A: Yes. Most lenders will go up to $500,000 for a business with no special requirements. However, by definition, the property (if residential) would be non-owner occupied, and therefore, require a down payment.

Q: If my business credit gets in trouble, will it mess-up my personal credit?

A: No! That's the beauty of separating your personal credit from your business credit. The two don't have to mix.

Q: If I already have an LLC or an "S" Type corporation, can I use that to develop business credit?

A: Yes, you can, but it's a bad idea. Credit grantors know that LLCs and "S" corps are, by their nature, small closely-held businesses. Therefore, lenders will always require personal guarantees and you will have wasted your money.

Q: Will I learn enough from you to do it alone next time or even help others to do it?

A: Yes!

Q: Would you just do everything for me if I pay enough?

A: Not unless you want to buy an already established and going concern, which could cost $50,000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars. To build a bona fide credit profile requires you to take part in finding trade references, establishing bank accounts, and compiling financial statements. A third party consultant cannot "invent" these things.

Q: How long will you help me if I have trouble executing your game plan?

A: For as long as it takes, but normal customer service lasts one year.

Q: If I don't have any trade references, what should I do?

A: I will teach you how to find them, or how to develop them from scratch.

Q: I don't have anyone, including myself, who could serve as a creditworthy officer for my corporation. How will your program solve that?

A: I know where to look for people that will partner up with you for that purpose. I will teach you the ideas that work.

Q: How do I know that your program will work for me?

A: It has worked for so many other people that the probability is that it will work for you too! We display dozens of checks and approval letters from banks on our website to prove to you that it has worked for a lot of people. However, you have to make it work…with our help. Secondly, if you don't try it, the program has no chance to work!
